Option B – Connect & rent a number

Option C – Rent/Purchase a number over 12 or 24 months

You will own the number after the final payment in month 12 or 24! You can do any of the following during the rental period:

• Have the number forwarded to your existing landline or mobile number within the monthly rental cost giving you unlimited incoming calls if forwarded to a landline and just 1ppm if delivered to a UK  mobile number issued by O2, Vodafone, EE or 3 – please note that calls routing to numbers not issued by these networks may well be charged at a higher price – if you are unsure, please ask us.
• Have the number forwarded to up to 4 existing landlines or mobile numbers at the same time or one after another with the ability to play welcome announcements to your callers, have music while queuing and voicemail from just £9.60 per month with a one-off £14.40 set-up fee, giving you unlimited incoming calls if forwarded to a landline and just 1ppm if delivered to a mobile!
• Have it on an XL Mobile SIM card that works on the EE network with unlimited calls to UK mobiles and landlines, unlimited texts and 5Gb of data all for just for just £27.24 per month
• Have it on our hosted voice phone service for just £7.86 per month**
• Transfer/ port the number away to another provider once paid for in full
• Pay the outstanding balance off at any time during the 12 or 24 month period

 

 

Please note that calls delivered to mobile numbers issued by O2, Vodafone, EE or 3 incur a routing charge of 1ppm – please note that calls routing to numbers not issued by these networks may well be charged at a higher price.  If you are unsure, please ask us.

 

Taxi Connect Direct

Overview

Allows passengers who need a taxi to call a telephone number and be connected directly to a driver who is currently opted-in to receive jobs and be paid by the passenger directly upon arrival at destination.

For Passengers

• Passenger dials a published telephone number, speaks to the taxi driver, and get picked up.
• Passenger pays taxi driver directly for journey at destination.
• Connect with any available opted-in driver.

For Drivers

• Use existing published telephone numbers (or get a new memorable ones).
• Drivers are paid directly by passenger.
• Drivers can opt themselves in and out of receiving jobs (optional).
• Drivers can be alerted that the incoming call is a taxi passenger call upon answer rather than just a general call to their mobile phone number (optional).
• Drivers can be asked if they wish to accept the call by pressing a key on their telephone keypad before speaking to caller – this stops mobile voicemail answering calls automatically (optional).

Back-end Operation

• Unlimited drivers to be added to platform.
• Up to 50 drivers can be called concurrently and first to answer will get the call.
• Management of who’s opted in to receive calls at any time.
• Play welcome message to caller e.g., You’re through to ABC Taxis
• Block nuisance callers’ numbers
• Set operational times and days and play a message to callers out of hours.
• Ability to opt drivers in and out of receiving jobs.
• Allow drivers to know if call is a taxi call before speaking to caller (optional at no extra cost).
• Allow driver to press a key on their telephone keypad to choose to accept a call – this stops calls going to drivers’ mobile voicemail services (optional at no extra cost).
• Calls can be recorded and kept for agreed time (optional – additional cost).

Costs

• One-off Service set-up cost of £75 INC. VAT and no monthly charges
• Per inbound call cost of £0.24 INC. VAT (plus 6p per minute after first minute)
• Call recording set-up cost of £30 INC. VAT and Monthly cost of £9 INC VAT

 

XL Mobile SIM

 

XL-IP – Keep your BT phone number & phone and use via your broadband router

 

Overview

Allows you to keep you existing BT telephone number and telephone handset and use your broadband service to make & receive calls.

XL-IP gives you a special router (which is about the same footprint as an iPhone) which allows you to plug your existing analogue BT telephone handset in one end and your broadband into the other end and with our SIP account in the adapter you can make and receive calls just as before.

The Process

• We take over your existing BT line or lines.
• We send your XL-IP router to you in the post fully configured.
• You plug your telephone in to the router using the white adapter supplied.
• Your plug our router to your broadband router.
• Your plug our router in to your power socket.
• After about 20 seconds, you can make and receive calls as before.

What devices can I use with XL-IP?

• Telephone handsets
• Cordless telephones (base station plugs in to XL-IP router)
• Fax machines
• Modems
• Other devices which have a standard BT connector

What will you send me?

We will send you one XL-IP box for each telephone line you have which contains everything you need:

• XL-IP router
• Power supply
• BT socket to RJ11 adapter to connect your BT phone to XL-IP router
• LAN cable

Other Information

• If you have multiple telephone lines, you will need one of our routers for each line.
• We can change the outgoing Caller ID number to be your existing BT number or your mobile number.
• You can plug in to any broadband router RJ45 LAN socket.
• Supports inbound Caller ID – no additional subscription necessary.
• Call quality is always based on your broadband quality.

Costs

• One-off charge for XL-IP router & set-up – £99 INC. VAT
• Monthly service charge – £8 INC. VAT
• Minimum Term – 3 months then monthly rolling

• 500 minutes to 01/02/03 numbers and top 4 mobile numbers – £7.00

• 5000 minutes to 01/02/03 numbers and top 4 mobile numbers – £24.00
