One search box now finds every kind of number we sell – and for the first time that includes our ordinary numbers as well as our memorable ones.
You can now search for memorable landline (01 & 02) numbers, ordinary landline (01 & 02) numbers, non-geographic (03 & 08) numbers and memorable mobile (07) numbers from a single search box and just choose the number type you want and then click Search!

Not every number has to be memorable. If you simply need a local number for a particular town or city, you can now search our ordinary numbers – landline numbers without a memorable pattern. Choose Ordinary Landline/Geo Numbers, enter an area code – 01224, say – and click Search to see every ordinary number we have there. Know the number you want? Type it in full – e.g. 01206 931618 – and we will show you if it is available. Or add a space and just the digits you want after the area code – e.g. 01206 1618.

The results tell you exactly what was searched for. Your area code is shown as a grey tag under Add area codes, which leaves the Search box free – enter the digits you want and click Search to narrow the list down, or empty it to see every number in the area again. Every ordinary number carries a grey dot, and you can buy or rent one in just the same way as a memorable number.

Opening in more than one town? You can look for the same number in up to five areas at once. Click in the Add area codes box and start typing an area code or the name of a place – type kett, say, and Kettering appears. Click the one you want and it appears underneath as a grey tag. Do the same again for each area you want, one at a time.

Then enter the number you would like in the Search box – the whole number without its area code: 6 digits for a five-digit area code such as 01224, 7 for a four-digit code such as 0113, and 8 for 020 – and click Search. Numbers that match are shown together, so you can see at a glance which of your areas the number is available in. Here 432002 is available in all five.

Not every number is available in every area. Phone numbers are issued to each area code in blocks, and the blocks differ from one area to the next, so try different area codes if you do not find a match.
When you search for a memorable number – by number, area code or town – and we also have ordinary numbers in the same area, you will see them offered just beneath the coloured dots. Click View ordinary numbers to see the ordinary numbers in that area – your search is carried across, the area code and any digits you entered.

You can now search for numbers in a particular area with certain digits in - e.g. You can search for an 0207 number with the digits 5555 in it – just enter 0207 followed by a space and then 5555 and click Search!

You can search for a mobile number – full number or digits contained in the number.

To see a list of all of our 033 non-geo numbers, just enter 033 in the search box, click the Non-Geographic Numbers button and then click Search
